Jordan Schanze’s love of flight began in 2007 when, at just six years old, his father Dell first introduced him to the skies with a paraglider. From that very first flight, Jordan was captivated. By age seven, he had already taken his first solo paragliding flight, and just a few years later, at ten, he launched into paramotoring, setting two unofficial world records as one of the youngest pilots in the history of the sport.
From the very beginning, Jordan’s passion for flying was matched only by his relentless work ethic. As a young student, he would spend eight to twelve hours a day perfecting his kiting skills during training sessions. When classes ended and the sun began to set, most students packed up for the day, but Jordan would often stay on the field, kiting well into the night. His unstoppable drive became his trademark.
Today, at 24 years old, Jordan brings over 17 years of experience as both a pilot and instructor. While his youth is often surprising, his skill, professionalism, and teaching ability leave no doubt that Jordan is not only a gifted pilot but also a natural educator. He has developed a reputation for his patient, hands-on approach and his ability to make every student feel comfortable and confident as they step into the world of flight.
Jordan’s deep love of kiting and sharing that passion with others led him to found ParamotorPro, a company dedicated to introducing new pilots to the incredible freedom of personal flight. For him, teaching isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. Every lesson is an opportunity to share the joy, freedom, and perspective that flying has given him.

My journey into the world of paramotoring began in 2008 during a trip to Tenerife, where I had my first tandem paraglider experience. From that moment, I was hooked. For the next decade, I visited Tenerife twice a year, forming a close friendship with my tandem pilot trainer. During these trips, I had the opportunity to take control during 3 to 4 flights each time, as he generously shared his knowledge and skills with me.
In 2018, I formalized my training by enrolling in a British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA) Elementary Pilot (EP) and Club Pilot (CP) course. The following year, I traveled to America to train with the renowned Super Dell. Under his guidance, I felt like a novice again, but his mentorship has been invaluable in teaching me to fly and to teach others to fly and to conduct tandem flights.
My passion for paramotoring has taken me all over the world, from the United States to Bulgaria and the Himalayan mountains. I have successfully completed numerous courses along the way. Most recently, in 2023, I completed a two-week Simulation Incident in Flight (SIV) course with the esteemed Jocky Sandron in Turkey. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I am excited to continue sharing my passion for flight with others.
